Bowling Green Retirement Village is a place that one year ago I did not even know existed. That all changed in the spring when our family realized that Dad needed  somewhere to live to be with people that could care for his physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. He has embraced BGRV as (his) home and is totally at home  there. He completely loves everyone there as does our family. We feel very blessed for him being there and I can lie down at night knowing he is cared for.

I can not give enough praise to BGRV for all they do for all residents. God’s love is with these people and I will always be thankful for them.”

“When I first came here, I was sick (and did not realize it). This place brought me back through acts of kindness, on-site support and healthy daily meals and socialization  events. I’m a better person today because of Bowling Green Retirement Village. I’m very grateful to those who are so kind and good to others.  “I love this place! I wouldn’t change a thing.”

“For almost two years ago our family needed to find a place where a family member could be comfortable in as much of a home-like environment as possible and still get  assistance with things that were needed. We began to look around at the possibilities. When we looked at the assisted living part of Bowling Green Retirement Village we  knew we had found the right place.

Our family member was well cared for and was happy to be at ‘The Village’. It was a nice private room with his own things. At the same time he was able to get assistance with the things he needed help with. Meals were provided and medication reminders were given, there were activities to be included in, there were outings to go on, and staff was friendly and  helpful.

It is a very home-like atmosphere for anyone who is in need of some extra help with activities of everyday living. I would highly recommend Bowling Green Retirement Village!”

“My mother-in-law moved into Bowling Green Retirement Village in September 2015. For my family this was a very much needed and positive move for her. She has  always been a very independent woman and was not very receptive to the idea that people would be assisting her in her daily routine. She didn’t recognize that for the last  year, her ability to take care of herself had diminished greatly. Already her family was having to make sure she was eating and taking her medicine. Now we can visit with  her and enjoy being with her because we know she is taken care of and is clean and has three meals daily.  We appreciate BGRV for the friendly and courteous care given to her on a daily basis. The peace of mind that we now have is wonderful.”

“We’ve been here almost four years. There’s not a need that has never been met. There are fine people here that help serve many needs in our day. Our five children are very pleased with BGRV. And that makes us very happy.”

“It’s the perfect place for my mother. She says it was the best decision she could have made.”

“The people are so friendly at BGRV. It’s like being at home. The three daily meals are nice — no grocery shopping, cooking or dishwashing. As the former activities director, I’m very appreciative of the daily events and holiday celebrations we have here. They’re always very entertaining.
Please come visit us. You won’t find a better place!”

INA STRINGFIELD, former resident

Bowling Green Retirement Village is a warm caring, safe place for our most precious treasure, our Mother. The management and staff nurture each resident and  Our Mother enjoys having conversations over coffee with friends. She also enjoys the three hot meals served daily (especially desserts).

The management and staff treats everyone with dignity and respect through the ups downs of daily life. BGRV gives us peace of mind as we leave our Mother in their care after each visit.”
